Choosing the correct natural treatment for scabies
Scabies condition is produced by a certain type of mite called Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis. If this condition is not treated properly and in time, it can generate new complications like bacterial infections of the skin (impetigo), cellulites or crusted scabies. The treatments are required very soon after the affliction is discovered. The treatment can be either medical, or natural, either way consisting in creams and lotions meant to eradicate the mites that caused the affliction. The natural treatments for scabies have been used for long time in the past and are still used nowadays as a viable alternative to the new synthetic topical medications. However, the natural treatments are used only in the cases when the affliction was discovered in time and the symptoms are not severe.
There are some differences between the natural and the synthetic treatments for scabies. The natural treatments are milder to the skin than the synthetic ones, which worsen the symptoms during the treatment and are better tolerated by the skin, but usually take a longer time for eradicating the mites that caused the affliction.
The symptoms of scabies are alleviated using natural treatments with azadirachta indica (neem), curcuma longa (turmeric) and tea tree oil. The symptoms of scabies will still show even after the mites have been eradicated because the dead bodies of the mites and their remaining secretions continue to produce allergic reactions to the human skin. Those treatments have been used for a long time for curing chronic ulcers and scabies and they come from India .
Most the patients that were treated for scabies with the Indian natural treatments have cured from this affliction within two weeks. Those treatments are very well tolerated by the human body and they are found under the forms of creams, oils and lotions. The lotions or creams are applied on the whole surface of the skin and not just on the areas that are visibly affected. There are some Indian treatments that not only eradicate the mites that infested the human body but also have action at the skin level alleviating the symptoms of the scabies.
Along with the treatment for scabies, there are a few other things that a person must do, in order to prevent spreading the condition or getting re-infested. All the clothes, bed linens, towels and personal items must be washed with hot water for preventing re-infestation. Also, everyone in the family or those who have had close contact with the infested person should follow a treatment for this affliction even if the symptoms haven't showed yet.
